Did you see Taylor Swift from the MTV VMA Awards last night?? Her makeup is always flawless and she is so in tune with knowing what works for her in beauty and in fashion. This dramatic winged liner look that travels into the tear duct area is super cool and gives her that bad girl edge! I actually created this exact look over a year ago, remember “the real cat eye” here?? Okay, maybe it was a different color and a bit thinner, but still, the same idea!
I am probably a little too old to be watching such award shows but I do find them fascinating for the fashion and beauty looks to see what “the kids” are wearing these days!! I have to say, I was not very impressed with Miley Cyrus and her crass demeanor though. All of the foul language and bleeping her out that went on left little to be desired and made her look like she was trying too hard to be accepted and cool. Maybe Miley should take a few courses on class from Miss T Swift:)
The above quote is truly how I am living my life these days. Just winging’ it!! Have I mentioned that I am headed up to NYC for Fashion Week for the first time ever next week?? Talk about winging’ it! Me and my other blogging roommates are busy trying to schedule how we will be spending our time there and what events and shows we can get in to. It’s seriously all just throwing out emails and making contacts to see what sticks and who answers back!!
