I’m a big believer in smelling good and having a “signature scent.” Adding a spritz of perfume before I head out of the door is a necessary part of my personal style, just as applying a lip color and putting on my watch is (random fact – I always have to be wearing a watch, my wrist feels naked without it). I like to smell good – for myself, my hubby, and heck, anyone else around me! I take great pleasure when I’m told, “WOW, you smell good! What are you wearing?”
I was recently introduced to a luxury fragrance company called, Pinrose, which is based out of San Francisco, CA. The two owners, Christine and Erika, basically developed this company because they thought everyone should have more FUN with their fragrance. One is a scent psychologist (yes, there is a science to scent) and one a business guru. Their vision was to “make high quality fragrance a playful, effortless, and everyday experience for the modern millennial.”
Scent is such an important sense and part of our being, don’t we deserve to have a little fun with it and have more choices? Like I have said many times before, I change my lipstick color each day with my mood and I also like to do the same with my fragrance.
“Creating a scent playlist for your life,” is also one of the Pinrose taglines. With this awesome idea of their individual petal packs shown above (think tiny wet wipes), you can make your own playlist of different scents and switch up the way you smell without buying a bunch of expensive bottles of perfume! They’re also wonderful for on the go in your purse or when traveling on an airplane (hello, how much do I hate trying to pack a glass bottle and praying it doesn’t bust in my suitcase!)
Don’t know which scent would work best for you? They’ve got that covered without you even having to step in a store and start squirting. This is the most fun part about Pinrose I think! They developed this awesome personality quiz you can take that will unlock your personalized scent style from their 10 choices. Mine came up, that I am a RULER – I am a ruler, dear friend, and supreme queen. Okay, I like that!! All 3 scents picked for me, I loved. Kind of amazing. And they’re all so different! From scents of jasmine to mandarin to white musk, they all worked for me.
