My sweet new baby boy Taco, ate his first pair of my shoes. And it couldn’t have been a cheap Old Navy pair, oh no no no. He had to chew the top off of my FAVORITE neutral leather Shoemint sandals that go with EVERYTHING!!! Ugh. Little rascal.

Guess what the good news is? I was seriously in a shoe store when I actually noticed that the top of my shoe had been chewed off. And when I went to unzip the back of them for a closer look, the whole zipper came loose! I was returning a purse I didn’t want, so then I decided why not do the exchange for a new pair of sandals since my right shoe no longer would stay on my foot…
Oh, and why not get a new pair of neutral booties too for when cooler weather sticks around!! Both pairs were on extreme sale at Off Broadway Shoes so I didn’t feel much guilt.

Like I said, both pairs were on sale at Off Broadway which I couldn’t find online, but found similar styles and colors of both here…

It’s always a good time for new shoes right?? Especial neutral colored ones that will go with everything. Is it silly to buy a new pair of sandals in October? Not here in Georgia where it’s still in the 80’s! And I’ve been on the lookout for a cute new bootie in taupe bc it goes with blacks, browns, and any color in my wardrobe. These just caught my eye immediately and you know you can’t pass up a pair of shoes that talks to you. I will be wearing my shorts and skirts into winter with tights and these booties for sure!
Our old dog Sophie never chewed on things she wasn’t supposed to, so this is our first time with a dog that will literally knaw on ANYTHING. If anyone has any advice on how to stop this annoying habit, I’d be so grateful. Lesson learned, don’t leave any really nice shoes on the ground where 5 lb Taco can get his snack on them…
