When I think of the most flattering berry shades, I think blackberries and raspberries. They’re yummy and delicious, so why wouldn’t they look yummy and delicious on my face?!
Products used:
I decided to go all out and try berry based shades on the eyes, lips, AND mouth. The key to not making it look like I’d gotten in a food fight with the fruit section at my grocery store, was to the apply each product in light layers with no harsh lines.
The cheek stain and lipstick were applied and blended in with only my finger tips. To keep the eyes subtle and not too overwhelming, I applied a matte mauve based taupe to accent my crease, then added a richer shade of blackberry-like plum shadow to my upper and lower lash line instead of a harsh liner and added 2 coats of mascara for drama. This bh palette is now on sale for only 17 bucks just FYI!
I’m thinking these rich berry colors could also filter into the rest of my style for fall. Some berry beautiful inspired items you could try are polish, pants, or purse on for size like these below!
