Feminine camouflage – sounds like an oxymoron right?! I just bought this camouflage jacket on a whim and it has turned out to be one of my favorite pieces in my closet right now!! Here is how I keep it looking more girly, less Duck Dynasty…

I used my BFF Pinterest (make sure to follow me here @JennySueMakeup!) to go looking around to see how I could style my new camo piece and make it look as chic as possible! The common elements of styling camo that I saw from some of my favorite female pinners were these:
- White Pants. Yes, you can wear them year round now. Totes acceptable. No white shoes though.
- Statement Shoe. It can be a high heel, shocking color shoe of any sort (think red, pink, blue!), or an animal print one. I added a comfy leopard high top above, but I have also worn it with snakeskin heels here. Snakeskin + camo go together like peanut butter and jelly don’t you think:)
- Accessorize. I layered two delicate gold necklaces and some of my favorite rings to bring some bling! But big chunky bracelets OR a collared bib necklace is good too. Here is another of my Instagram pics pairing it with a bib necklace.
- Bold Lip. Nothing says girly girl like a hot pink lipstick and cheeks. Nothing. You could be wearing an astronaut suit and still look feminine as long as you have on a bright lipstick!!

I’m so happy with my camo look, that I’ve obviously been wearing it on repeat as you can see from all of my different looks! I’m a Georgia girl, it just makes sense to have a piece of camo in my closet right?? Do you ladies own any camouflage?
