There are two constant struggles in my house :
1. Tangles – between me and my daughter, there is a lot of “ouch”-ing going on after we get out of the shower or bath trying to get the dreaded tangles out of our long locks.
2. Blow Drying – I hate blow drying my hair with a passion, but I have to, because air drying just looks plain horrible. And I never used any other products besides shampoo and conditioner because I am hair product handicapped…until now.
I get sent quite a few products to try out and review as a beauty blogger, it’s such a lovely perk. Some wow me, some are snoozers. But rarely do I get sent anything related to HAIR, and I have a lot of it on my head! So I was thrilled to finally get a couple of hair things to try out, and to actually LOVE both of them!!
The Tangle Teezer, $20 is a compact plastic brush that fits in the palm of your hand and somehow, someway, gives Vivian and I easier and pain free tangle removal!! Of course, it’s not a one swipe fix all, but it definitely makes a huge difference compared to my generic brushes with handles. It’s got flexible plastic teeth that glide through our knotted hair and it’s ideal for all types of hair and ages. Ever since I’ve been using it, Viv does not scream when it’s detangle time!! Yay!! This brush now is requested by my boys to brush their hair!! And as you can see, Vivian is happy to play hair salon with it:)
It actually comes in a bunch of cute colors and patterns too:)
The next product I have incorporated into my hair routine is this Living Proof Perfect Hair Day styling treatment, $15. If you didn’t know, this line is co-owned by Jennifer Aniston, who we all know has a good hair day, erry-day!!!! I use just a dime to a quarter size of it on my towel dried damp hair, rub it through by starting at the ends of my hair and working up to the roots. Then blow dry! This cream promises to help with a few things…

*conditioning
*strength
*polish
And you know what, it does all of those things!! I find when I skip using this product, my hair doesn’t look as good as I know it can. It makes me really happy when I find new hair products and tools to love since I’m usually more focused on makeup and skin care stuff. My hair usually gets the “shaft,” hahahaha!!
