Knee boots are the “it” shoe for fall.
Specifically these knee boots. The Ugg ‘Ava’ suede boot is awesome for a couple of reasons. 1st… it is a water-resistant suede fabric. Say whaaatt? I haven’t actually tested that out yet with rainfall, but I’m hopeful that is true! Nothing worse than water on suede! And 2nd… they have a memory cushioned foam footbed with the classic soft Ugg shearling lining. I am talking serious, foot pillow comfort.
Do you need any other reasons to see why it is the “it” boot, besides the fact they look really awesome on! Oh, and they come in 4 colors!! Yes ma’am!

The suede knee boot is an accessory that you will want to wear all season long when the temps start to plummet! I bought these as a great investment during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale (you should NEVER miss this sale when it comes around by the way) and know I will get tons of chances to wear them.
Not only will they go well with casual dresses + tights, but they will also be cute worn over skinny jeans and chunky sweaters! It is not quite warm sweater weather here in Georgia YET, but I’m hopeful it will be real soon. I own a couple other knee boots that are flats, but I like that these have a bit of heel to them. That makes my legs look longer and what girl doesn’t want that??
Luckily the heel isn’t so high either that they’re not easy to get around in. These are actually really comfortable to hit the pavement on!
Two other key pieces for pulling my look together with my knee boots : my old classic camo jacket and wine colored backpack.
If you follow me on Instagram you probably are sick of seeing me with my current handbag obsession, this Henri Bendel backpack (c/o)! I wear it ALL THE TIME. And when you wear a bag in the color burgundy/wine, you’re killing the fashion game with two trends! I can’t believe how much this shade of bag goes with in my closet either. Backpacks in general just fit my life so well as a mom. They allow me to be hands free while still feeling stylish!
Oh, and don’t forget the camoflauge jacket! It is also one of those wardrobe musts that gives me a little edge to any outfit and the print actually goes with a lot. We have zero hunters in my family but doesn’t matter – I’m still gonna rock the camo!
Next purchase for me…the OVER the knee boot! I don’t know if it will go with as much as this length of boot, but I’m willing to give a pair a shot because I think they look super cool.
