The IT handbag style from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.

It has got to be the CHAIN CROSSBODY BAG.

Having just gotten back from Miami Swim Week, I realized as I looked back at my photos on my phone from the time I was there, that out of the 4 handbags I packed, I wore this Topshop chained cross body the most.  It literally was the perfect shape, weight, and converted into a clutch when I removed the chain.  It is seriously THE most versatile bag that worked for day to night!

And if you don’t need a white bag (although I recommend it bc it has gone with practically everything in my summer wardrobe) then it comes in taupe and black as well.

Wear it casual or fancy.

The great thing about an IT handbag style like the chain cross body is that it can go either way – Effortlessly goes from the office to your favorite late-night spot.  With my Topshop one, I found it worked with my frayed denim shorts and flatforms on the plane there and on the way back. Then it worked with my rompers and funky dresses at night .  It’s just big enough to fit my normal wallet, necessary iPhone 6+, keys and my lip glosses!

The fabric is a faux snakeskin embossed print that can go from a casual crossbody style for day to being a sophisticated clutch at night where the chain can just drop into the bag.
