Are you familiar with Snapchat?
I gave into it about two months ago after constant encouragement from some of my blogger friends who said that it was the “next best thing” since Instagram for bloggers. Oh geez, ANOTHER thing I need to add to my already full social media outlet plate?? Ok, I’ll give it a shot.
What exactly IS Snapchat you ask? Basically, it’s a spontaneous form of communication with temporary photo messaging via an app. Interesting. So selfies (like that one above!) that come and go.
So now that I gave in, am I happy with my decision to jump on the Snapchat bandwagon and what do I like best about it?? Scott and I took about a month break (we talk about that too) but are back at it with a new lease on recording and keeping it simple for your listening ears during your traffic filled car rides to and from work. We have flip flopped around a bit with this podcast and what direction we wanted it to go. But hey, that kind of goes along with the whole “making it up as we grow” mentality right??
(One of our big questions during the episode that we didn’t answer, was what exactly is my “score” that I see on my home page on Snapchat? Well I found the exact definition : “Your Snapchat score is a special equation combining the number of Snaps you’ve sent and received, stories you’ve posted, and other factors.” Basically showing you how popular you’ve been by giving you a numerical value. Let’s take my score of 426 with a grain of salt okay?? As always, your Insta, Facebook, Twitter, and Snap following do NOT equal your WORTH.)
