I love accessories – all of them.
Bracelets, earrings, necklaces, scarves, anything that can mix up my everyday look. Jewelry adds to ones style very easily just like the swipe of your favorite lipstick does.
But it is not often I am proud to wear a brand of jewelry that makes good choices behind HOW & WHY their products are made and WHO makes them. Which is why I am super excited to introduce you to INK + ALLOY – accessories with a purpose.
INK + ALLOY is one of those companies whose uniquely beautiful jewelry is inspired by artisans from all over the world. And right here close to home near me in Atlanta, GA, they are working with refugee women living in the area who have fled war and persecution to start again. Many of the pieces are hand crafted by them, in turn giving them the opportunity to build dignified lives right here in Atlanta.

As you have hopefully seen before on my blog, I am a beauty expert for the app, PRIMP, Pretty In My Pocket. And now for the first time, they are starting to feature apparel and accessories, and INK + ALLOY is the first brand to be featured as part of #PRIMPWithPurpose.

Can you believe this is my 1st pair of tassel earnings?? What?!! But yes they are, and these are super cute and so extremely lightweight you wouldn’t even believe it. Despite how long they are, they’re truly light as a feather. The contrast of the light colored tassel against my dark hair makes me happy!
I am a sucker for BIG jewelry, so you can see the cuff bracelet and wooden strand necklace fit nicely into that category. I style larger accessories like this with more simple clothing pieces like my staple white tee and denim skirt. When you go to the INK + ALLOY site, you’ll notice they have a lot of bigger statement pieces which I dig.
Piece #4 – Copper Cotton Dash 82″ x 26″ scarf
Even though it’s not cold now, it’s going to be. So I also picked out this amazing copper polka dotted scarf that can be worn with so much in my closet. I consider creams and metallics neutrals for sure. This scarf is super big, so it can be worn a multitude of ways. You can throw it over our shoulders and belt it at the waist or wear it traditionally just wrapped around your neck.
Their hand-blocked textiles are crafted by an artisan family outside of Jaipur. For five generations they have been handing down the fine art of block printing. INK + ALLOY is extremely proud to partner with these talented artisans! And I’m pretty proud to own a piece!!
