A quick and simple July4th makeup tutorial.
I love the Fourth of July and I LOVE dressing my whole family up in our patriotic colors! Every year, we have a tradition of getting together with some of our best friends and their kids here in town. We grill out hamburgers and hotdogs (how American can you get??), light a few sparklers with all of our kids (we’ve got so many, we have stopped counting – the kids I mean!), and then we head out to a local park here in Athens, GA and watch the big impressive fireworks on blankets and lawn chairs. It’s always such a fun, relaxing, and magical day.
Of course I don’t stop at my clothing when showing my American pride, my makeup is the next best accessory! And no, you don’t have to spend hours trying to recreate the American flag on your eyelids and lips in order to celebrate Independence Day today – actually quite the opposite. Wearing the red, white, and blue in your makeup routine has never been easier or prettier. (The best way to make this color combo look super wearable, is to choose a blue shadow or liner that leans more towards navy.)
Take your look from everyday to Independence Day ready.
