Mastering the boho chic style is easy with a Free People dress.
Athens has been feeling pretty darn wonderful these days and I’m not complaining one bit. The days have been mild to just warm enough, to needing a denim jacket at night. I’ll take any excuse to meet friends for a drink on the rooftop of the Georgia Theatre or dine outside so the kids can run around! This weather begs to be outdoors.
I’m all about an effortless look because well, life is busy. A sundress is always the answer to effortless. And “boho” isn’t really me, but add the “chic” to it, and now you’re talking. I like some girly feminine with my boho! And the brand Free People always delivers this combination. Just add the cutest fringe sandals ever (hello comfort!).
Beautiful Boho Makeup.
For this look, I decided to do a simple version of a shimmery copper eye using my Naked 2 palette. I mainly used the shade “chopper” and wet my brush with water before applying it to make it more metallic and pigmented! I also added a brown thin liquid liner along the upper lash line and flicked it up slightly. Then by just adding a warm highlight to the cheek to give that “ethereal look” and a pop of red orange lips, you’ve got just the right combo to go with this printed flouncy dress.
Hopefully this makeup look is good enough to distract you from my hair, that I did zero with! If I have to choose between spending time on my makeup or hair – makeup wins everytime! (I had a hair elastic in my purse, just in case.)
