This is episode number 1 of the #JSMminute video series!!
I am so thrilled (and a little bit nervous!) to be starting this YouTube series where I not only show you my makeup tips and tricks but I also talk products, social media, my experience and advice on blogging, to pop culture! All things I know and love.
“If you never TRY, you’ll never KNOW.”
This is a quote I just put on my Instagram page today and rings very true to why I am starting this series. As a blogger, driving traffic and getting engagement (comments!) on your blog is what we live for. Well in all honesty, I don’t get as many comments or questions as I like, but then I know I have my daily blogs I love and read and NEVER comment on. Guess maybe this is a lesson to me I should share the love to those blogs!
However, people love YouTube videos and I feel like this show will hopefully encourage more of my readers – YOU! – to give me subjects and content to talk on by asking me questions via the comment section below, tweeting me or leaving me a question on my Instagram.
All you have to do is use my hashtag >> #JSMminute << when you’ve got something you want me to answer or show you!
On today’s first #JSMminute episode :
I’m talking :
- Turning 38 and JLO
- What my favorite drugstore beauty brand is
- What are the best and worst parts about being a blogger
- Show you how to highlight your features with my current fave Kevyn Aucoin Celestial Powder & this MAC paddle brush #287.
I would love love and appreciate any feedback from you in the comments below about the show (be kind, remember it’s my first one, ha! :)). And more importantly, if you’ve got anything at all you want me to talk about or show you on my new video series, leave it in the comments section or find me on any my social media channels and let me know what you want to see!!
But wait, there’s more :
Often times, our lives are busy and you don’t have time to sit down and watch a YouTube video. So, the #JSMminute is also a podcast!. You can listen in your car, at the gym or wherever it’s convenient for you.
If you consume podcasts via iTunes, you can find the link here. Or, simply click below and listen via SouncCloud.
