I am completely into metallics for this fall. Actually, if we are being honest, I’m into them year round!! I consider them some of the best “neutrals” in the world, but with shimmery shiny fun-ness to them! Yes, I just made up a new word.
And I love wearing shimmery eyeshadows (NOT glittery – there’s a tasteful difference). To keep it low key and wearable, just swipe your favorite silver shadow along the upper lid only, from lash line to crease, dot a little in the tear duct area, add a thin swipe of black or grey liner along the lash line (so your lashes don’t fade away) and a lot of black mascara and you’re done.
Finish with a neutral matte lip color like this Velvet Teddy I’m wearing. I found it thru Instagram of one of my favorite accounts, Andee Layne, who said she couldn’t live without it. So I obviously had to buy it because I love her style. Oh the power of Insta. Ha!! There’s your #FF account! Wearing a neutral low key lip is perfect so that you don’t fight with the shine of the eyeshadow.
Dazzle them with metallics this fall!!
