I love it when I find a new favorite brown eyeshadow. Yes there are tons of variations of brown out there but some are better than others. I couldn’t even begin to tell you how many shades of brown shadows I own, but it’s probably safe to say it’s close to one hundred.
As a member of the MAC Pro group, I get the chance to attend their masterclasses that are held in Atlanta ever so often and are led by some of the best and busiest makeup artists out there. At the last class I attended which was “Makeup Essentials”, the artist Keri that was leading it ended up sharing her all time favorite shadows from MAC. And when it came to what neutrals she liked, she told all of us professionals that if “we didn’t own this particular brown shade, we needed to” because it was flattering to every skin tone.
I was all ears and my credit card was ready – MAC Pro Longwear shadow in “Uninterrupted,” $21 was the holy grail of browns.

I am now pretty obsessed with this brown and want to use it everyday because it has such a summery warm feel that really makes my brown eyes pop as opposed to when I wear cool toned browns. And yes, this brown would benefit blue and green peepers as well because it has such a punch of golden orange which is a great contrast to blue and brings out the yellow in green and hazel eyes.
