Now that the temperatures in Georgia are finally starting to get up to where I need to put my jeans away and bust out my shorts, that also means I can’t leave home without giving some TLC to my forgotten legs!! Hey they’ve been in hibernation for almost 5 months!! Luckily it was great timing that I got sent the newest Gillette® Venus Swirl razor plus the Violet Swirl Shave Gel to prep my legs for a little sunshine.
I have extremely sensitive skin on my legs that somehow can get cuts and knicks from razors no matter what, so I was curious if this new duo could break that ugly cycle. The razor is really pretty and purple (and surprisingly lightweight), which I’m not sure if anyone else cares about, but I felt it very luxurious.
The razor is special because it has :
- 2 moisturizing strips
- 5 blades with Contour Blade technology – they have thinner finer edges that cut hair at a lower force
- Flexiball technology – there is a round metallic joint that allows the blade to swivel side to side (instead of just up and down) meaning that the blades can pivot more easily around the curves of the tricky areas of the female body!
I took one for the team and put this fancy schmancy razor to the test by trying to shave my legs in the quickest amount of time possible. I am a mom of 3, so showers often get interrupted by someone needing something so there’s never a whole lot of time to dilly dally and take my time with anything!! This razor passed the test and I never once had to think about if I was going to look like Edward Scissorhands when I was done. But voila, the lovely violet razor passed the test! The shave gel smelled fresh, not overpowering though, and was extremely moisturizing.
