Disney fairytales are the stories that stick in my mind most when growing up and reading as a little girl. I remember those Little Golden Books like it was yesterday and what it felt like to hold them and read them every night. The story of Cinderella has always been one of my favorites. I mean it centers around a fantastical glass shoe, turning into a princess by the wave of a magic wand, and good people overcoming mean people – how awesome is that!! So I was ecstatic when I found out they were making a revised “big girl” version of this beloved tale. Our whole family went to see it the 2nd day it was out and it was just as wonderful as I had hoped it would be. Even my 2 boys, their grandfather, and my hubby went, and everyone loved it!
What struck me most, was how brilliantly the makeup and hair matched the stories of each female character. Here’s how storytelling was played out perfectly through lipstick and curling irons…
For that natural flushed cheek and lip look, I would recommend the old school classic Benefit Benetint, Cheek and Lip stain. There’s no product that compares when this is what you’re going for. It’s the no makeup makeup look!
