I’ve been saying it for a loooong time now, that I’m going to start doing more YouTube videos. And this year, I’m going to stick by that goal and follow Nike’s motto and JUST DO IT!! So my first video of 2015 is answering two of the biggest makeup questions I get from my friends and clients…
“What are your favorite budget (drugstore) products for the skin?”
AND…
“What are the least amount of steps + products to get truly flawless looking skin?”

I thought this video was important right now because even though the holiday season is over, your bank account is a lot smaller because of all you spent celebrating during November + December (believe me with 3 kids, I know!), it is the new year and you’re longing for a fresh new look. So these drugstore products I suggest are key because they’re affordable and they work like a department store brand in my opinion.
Although I literally cringe at seeing and hearing myself on camera (I know it’ll get better – it did with taking selfies!!), I want to keep doing these videos because I feel you CAN learn better by seeing a beauty blogger in action. That being said, I want complete honesty from you all. What did you like, what didn’t you like, was it clear enough, did I answer your questions, or what info was missing? I want you to help me make better videos in the future so that means I need feedback. Of course I am human, so be gentle, hahaha!, but definitely constructive criticism is welcome so leave anything in the comment section below.
What are you doing this weekend? I’m off for my annual girls mountain trip with some of my favorite mamas for a relaxing weekend of doing nothing – literally. Isn’t that what most moms dream of doing?? And when I say mountain weekend, that doesn’t mean hiking and sightseeing – oh no. We sit in our nice warm cabin with a crackling fire, pj’s, lots of girl talk, and wine! I’m ready.
