Bobbi Brown really knows how to do neutrals and make a woman look beautiful without the makeup overshadowing her. So of course when she creates a limited edition mini palette that is only $30 and is small enough to keep in your purse for touch ups throughout the day, well, it’s worth every penny! Although it’s described as a lip and eye palette, I would add “cheek” to that bc I used the pinkest shade as my cream blush and it looks fantastic!!
Here’s how I wore every single color in the palette in one look…
Overall, I’m completely in love with the colors in this palette.
Eyes : The ONLY thing I wish it had, was a tiny eyeshadow brush to be included. But luckily, being an MUA, I’ve got plenty to choose from and just threw the smallest one I own in my purse to use. So for the eye look, I followed the exact instructions in the box and went from the lightest color (ivory) over the entire eye, to adding the medium (cement) shade from lash line to crease, and then finishing off with the darkest color used as my eyeliner (black chocolate – I even wet my brush to make it even darker and appear more “eyeliner”-like).
Cheeks & Lips : For the cream lip colors, instead of actual beauty tools, I used my pinky finger for the “brown” lip color shade (very light application) and my middle finger to apply the “natural pink” shade as my blush. Both worked just fine and blended well, no brushes necessary. The super shimmery Bare Sparkle lip gloss is just gorgeous and I’m going to be buying it separately once my tiny one runs out. It’s the perfect topper to ANY lip color and has a small foam applicator included.
Oh, and the tortoiseshell casing is just the chicest with an awesome full mirror (very clear -I’ve had mirrors in some palettes that weren’t worth diddly squat) to check out your complete application in. Pretty packaging is always icing on the cake, right??
