No makeup look quite says “It’s Christmas!” like a CHERRY RED LIP does. I recently purchased this Nars matte lip crayon in “Dragon Girl” and think it’s the absolute perfect holiday lip color. The matte finish is so sophisticated, the color is bright and bold, and the pigment is on the berry red side as opposed to a warmer orange base. I love love lip crayons and find them really fun to apply (maybe the Crayola kid in me??) and they give me great control on application and I can trace my lip outline easily with no lip liner needed.
What other makeup to pair with this look-at-me shade? All I need are shimmery neutral shadows, lots of black mascara, and a warm cheek! All of my exact products I linked above. You don’t want to overpower the already powerful dragon girl do you??! Keep everything else simple and enjoy not having to do much else with your makeup. Let the lips speak for themselves. Oh, and adding a pair of green earrings really just makes sense to finish off this Christmas look, right?!
