It’s the most magical time of the year. My kids (and myself!) are just about to explode with excitement for today’s festivities of a Christmas Eve service, followed by a big feast at home (about the only time I ever cook and the kids love the fizzy fake champagne I buy them)), and then they get to open one single present. And this is also the easiest night of the year when it comes to bedtime – all we have to say is “Santa is coming once your eyes are shut!”
The anticipation for Santa’s arrival is bubbling over and I can’t blame them because I still remember that feeling as a child. It’s just SO much fun. Of course we all know and need to remember the real reason for this wonderful season and I’m just so thankful for the many blessings we have received this year. I can’t believe how quickly this year has passed by (do I say this every year?? yes!) and I just want to express how much I truly appreciate each and every one of you who have visited, read, and commented on my blog. It’s crazy how far this blog has come and I’m excited about what the new year will bring. Aren’t you??!
I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas, happy holidays, and a fantastic New Year!!
