When I do a smokey eye, I usually try to make it not too severe by using browns, grays, or purples and throwing in a couple light shades of each. But sometimes I get the urge to go all out and get a TRUE black smokey look!
Here’s how I achieve that.

Buxom Full On Lip Cream in “White Russian” (my fave sexy nude/pink gloss)
To keep this all black eye look from taking over my face, I like to pair it with a pretty soft pink cheek and subtle glossy sheer light pink lip!
And speaking of black, have I mentioned my new black pant obsession? These Spanx Faux Leather Leggings, $98. They are the JAM and are getting worn constantly!!! They are SO comfortable but look killer on. You know usually things that are comfy aren’t necessarily the most fashionable!! I’m wearing a size large (they run really small) but could probably be wearing a medium if I REALLY wanted to be sucked in.
I hardly ever do fashion pics because I’m more comfortable being a beauty and makeup gal. I’m a horrible poser which is part of the reason I like shots from the neck up!! But I would like to take a moment to thank my 8 year old photographer, Jack, for helping mom out with these pictures. He did a pretty good job right?!!
