Since Halloween is my 2nd favorite holiday of the year (Christmas is 1st) it seems only fitting that I do a makeup tutorial inspired but the color scheme that exemplifies this spooky season – ORANGE & BLACK. You might think these colors wouldn’t work for everyday, but oh no, they’re actually quite pretty when you add a sparkly GOLD into the mix! And lets not forget our nails when it comes to completing our Halloween chic look – I painted my nails orange with a gold accent nail and skeleton/pumpkin thumb nail! It was originally supposed to look like a skeleton but I’m thinking it looks more pumpkin like! Ha! Either way, I was only able to do my left thumb because I’m right handed and after trying to do the same thing on my right hand, it ended up a hot mess so I had to scratch it and just keep it orange! I used a toothpick dipped in black polish to do this tiny nail art.
Halloween is all about having fun and trying something you’re not used to with you look – and I think this whole look is super fun and super wearable without looking too costume-like!
