Have you seen the ads for the newest Hunger Games themed collection, Capitol Beauty, from CoverGirl? I can’t decide if the masses (regular folks) are going to know what to do with these dramatic shades and products for wearing in their every day lives. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, here is the commercial ad plus a couple images for you to decide for yourself…

Personally, I think all of the images are very striking and entertaining to look at (this is only a select few from the 12 districts (collections)). Of course I’m pretty positive CoverGirl doesn’t expect us to paint on silver mirrored eyebrows or deep sea blue lips, because that would be taking things too literal. If you love fantasy looks, then you should definitely check out the website to see the amazing before/after split screen plus the tutorials on each look. It gives you a clear insight to why and how they created each mini collection.
But I am curious if anyone is going to go buy these specific collections depending on which district they relate with? I saw the Hunger Games once, and honestly, can’t remember much about it, especially the whole district thing. Please don’t hurt me all of you HG fans. I’d buy it more just to recreate for a possible Halloween costume more than an everyday look!
