October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. But as a female, it’s good to keep that awareness in the forefront of my mind and celebrate the idea of finding a cure EVERY month!
So on that note, we are getting a head start on October!!
On September 26th in Atlanta, there is an opportunity for everyone to come out and support breast cancer awareness by combining fun + fashion in support of the Pink Heals Foundation!
“My hope is that through Pink Heals, young women who have completed cancer treatment will find the inspiration and strength to reclaim their sense of self, and transition confidently into a new normal.” Lisa
I am very thrilled and excited to be one of the bloggers who gets the pleasure of participating with this organization and the WThinksPink : Cure on the Catwalk runway show. As a member of the Southern Blog Society, I am one of the bloggers who will be paired up with a breast cancer survivor, and we will work together styling ourselves up with some fab clothes from local boutiques at the Shops Around Lenox. Then we will be rockin’ the runway with an awesome fashion show and cocktail party at the W Hotel in Buckhead! There will be many other beautiful survivors, brands, boutiques, and bloggers walking the runway as well.
And we’ve got our very own local celeb to host the show, (a fellow UGA grad!) Julie Moran. It’s going to be an amazing night in addition to the main reason of raising funds to finally find a cure for this disease that affects too many women.

All proceeds from ticket sales (only 20 bucks each!) will go towards helping young cancer survivors regain their confidence after the completion of treatments.
