My love for makeup brushes never ends. Every woman who applies makeup to her face, needs a good set of makeup brushes – the cheap foamy plastic wands that come with your drugstore makeup just won’t do. So I was thrilled to finally get my hands on a set of BH Cosmetics brushes after all of the Facebooking and Tweets I’ve seen about them!
Here’s my review and photos of their 10 Piece Eco Brush Set, $30.00 – on sale now for $19 bucks! I promise, this won’t be some long winded review, I’ll hit the high notes in bullet points for ya!
My favorite 2 brushes out of the 10 are these 2 photographed below:
1. Angled blush brush is the perfect size for contouring my cheekbones and for blush application!
2. Smallest flat tipped eyeliner brush in the group for those tiny areas
of highlighting the tear duct area and lash line.

I love these brushes SO much I could give them a kiss! Mmmwhhaa! My whole look was created using these beauties.
Highlights and Low lights:
- There’s a brush for every application technique you would need except for a stiff eyebrow brush/comb combo, but not a biggie.
- Made of natural and recycled materials (handles are made of bamboo), all the way down to the super lightweight linen roll bag.
- Easy to clean although the white tips are hard to get completely crisp white again after multiple uses.
- For 19 bucks right now, to get 10 brushes of this caliber, that’s a steal in my book for well made environmentally friendly brushes.
- They have some of the softest bristles, which makes applying your makeup with them feel super comfortable! Blending is a breeze.
- Only bummer, the brushes aren’t labeled. So if you aren’t a makeup expert and don’t know exactly which one is considered “the foundation brush,” you will have to use the art of elimination because these brushes don’t list on the handles exactly what they should be used for.
