Southern Girls (Bloggers!) Do It Best Over At The Southern Blog Society

This mommy with a makeup problem recently joined in the fun as a contributor over at the Southern Blog Society and was featured there this past Monday. Doesn’t “contributor” sound so fancy and official?! And who doesn’t love a good southern gal?

I am looking forward to checking out the informative and entertaining categories of the SBS in their WEAR, EAT, LEARN, and DIY on a daily basis. Even if you’re not a southern girl at heart and don’t have the word “y’all” in your vocabulary (one of the founders Jessica is actually an original New Yorker!) you will still no doubt enjoy reading this great variety of lifestyle bloggers and everything they have to share. I’m especially looking forward to the EAT category since I can’t cook worth a lick, but love to eat! And you can’t beat a southern dish. Wonder if we could get Paula Deen to join this group??!

This was the ultimate southern movie about a group of close female friends, circa 1989. Whether or not it be accurate about all of us southern belles, it’s still one of the most hilarious movies involving such very different personalities and it has some of the best movie quotes EVER…

“I don’t like her. I don’t trust anyone who does their own hair. I don’t think it’s natural.”

While I don’t think we have any Weezies over at SBS, we definitely have some strong and powerful voices with much to say and share!
