{Parents on the loose! Tailgating before the concert with my hubby.}
I don’t know the last time I went to a rowdy concert. Since we have 3 kids – concerts aren’t high on our to-do list. But this weekend we broke the no-concert streak by attending the much anticipated Jason Aldean “Night Train” concert tour stop here in my town of Athens, GA held at the University of Georgia Sanford Stadium. First time EVER this football stadium has allowed a concert on its field. It was a big deal. Over 60,000 concert goers filled this massive stadium on what could have been one of the most gorgeous spring days we’ve had so far here in Georgia.

{Backstage pass.}
Not mine, *sad face, but our friend Alyssa’s above whose hubby happens to be IN the band AND the songwriter of “Tip It On Back” by Dierks Bentley. You know, that awesome music video that I did the makeup for and my boys made a cameo appearance in – remember it here?!

{Oh, and look who showed up onstage with Jason Aldean – LUDACRIS!!}
No, we weren’t this close. Photo via Jason Aldean Twitter feed.
{A little taste of the Ludacris appearance for “Dirt Road Anthem” from our seats.}
{Are we having fun yet??}
{Post concert entertainment with my bestie Laney.}
And since I usually try to bring it back to the makeup, YES, my makeup held up well due to the great staying power of all the products listed above and the beautiful spring like weather that kept me from sweating it all off!! I knew I wouldn’t be able to keep up with a purse filled w a bunch of products for touching up, so I chose my beauty products wisely from the start. Notice the Georgia bulldawg red nail color above?? This China Glaze red shade is one of my faves and I always get lots of compliments on it.
I must say, I need to go to more concerts if they’re all going to be this much fun! To say we had a “good time,” would be an understatement. We had an AMAZING time and it was just the kind of afternoon and evening us parents of little ones need every now and then to kick our heels up!
