My personal makeup motto – the more the better. Not that I ever want it to look like I’m wearing a ton of makeup, I just know that sometimes the natural look ain’t so natural. Even though no one booked me a flight to New York Fashion Week (what??!) I have enjoyed seeing photos around the Internet of what makeup looks designers have attached to their spring 2013 collections.
Hair and makeup are a BIG deal when designers send their models and clothing down the runways, because both influence and compliment one another. So a lot of thought goes into the makeup artist and designer collaboration for fashion week. From what I’ve seen as a whole, make-unders were the look du jour for Spring 2013 – natural and effortless makeup ruled the runways. This could be good for all of you makeup minimalists knowing you’ll be on trend next Spring, or bad news for all of you makeup mavens like myself who like a little more smoke and mirrors…
