I thought I would share with you all my perfect go-to makeup look that never fails me. It is the beloved smoky eye (done very softly) plus a neutral colored mouth.
My one rule when I wear this eye look, whether it be subtle, dark, or dramatic, it should always be paired with a neutral more subdued mouth. We’re not trying to knock people over with loads of makeup, which is what would happen with a dark mouth and these eyes. My focus is always for the person’s natural beauty to shine THROUGH the makeup, the focus should not BE the makeup.
The products that can get you my look:
EYES. MAC shadow in “blanc type” along the brow bone. Bobbi Brown shadow in “Slate” (one of my fave greys!) used from lash to right above the crease and drag into the inner corner of the eye socket. Too Faced shadow in “sexpresso” used along the upper and lower lash line. Real Colors hydra eyes waterproof gel eye liner in color “brown and dirty” along the upper lash line. L’Oreal Paris Voluminous mascara in “very black.”
SKIN. Avon MagiX Cashmere Finish Liquid Foundation in “natural beige.” MAC bronzing powder in “golden.” Cover Girl and Olay concealer in “corrector.”
CHEEKS. Sonia Kashuk blush in “melon.” Bobbi Brown shimmer brick in “pink quartz” along the tops of my cheekbones and down the bridge of my nose- just a little!!
LIPS. Lancome L’Absolu Rouge lipstick in “Coquette” (the perfect beigey taupe!) with L’Oreal Infallible lipgloss in “barely nude” applied in the center of the lips.
