When you think of the perfect LBD (little black dress), you think this is the piece that will pull your look together. However, you can’t wear an LBD alone and be done with it and walk out the door can you?? NO.
An LBD must also be accompanied by the perfect shoes, accessories/jewelry, purse, hair and makeup. Then, your look can be complete. It’s just like the old saying of, “there’s no I in TEAM.” One LBD cannot work alone to complete a look, it takes a few other details all working together.
**This is one of my two fave LBD’s shown at right (my girlfriend made me promise to cut her out of this pic which is why it looks so tiny!). It’s a super old – wait, I like “vintage” better- Free People dress with spaghetti straps, heart shaped neckline, and full skirt with pockets. I love adding fun leopard print booties with it, or it can be dressed down with leather flip flops! It works for almost any occasion! **
So I figured I would share with you all, my LBD for the face. Of course it’s not ONE specific item, bc my face cannot be complete using only one item. But I can show you my staple items that I know will always work for me when I’m in a rush or in a bind to pull myself together in a flash.
