I’ve always been a BIG Julia Roberts fan. Ever since the movies, Pretty Woman (my daughter has her main characters name, Vivian!) and Steel Magnolias, I’ve put her at the top of my list of one of my favorite and most talented actresses. And she’s from my home state, GEORGIA!! Makes it sounds like we could be best friends, because of this common denominator, right??! Ha!
So it’s only fitting that we discuss how amazingly good this 43 year old mom of three looks on the cover of Elle magazine as well as in her newest movie out, Eat, Pray, Love. Maybe you’ve heard of it;-) She is super hot right now!
Since she is the latest spokeswoman for Lancome cosmetics, it’s no wonder she sported lots of Lancome products during the filming of this movie and at the premieres. Check out what Julia’s personal makeup artist, Richard Dean, used on Miss Julia, by clicking on Makeup.com for a glimpse into the exact products he put her in and application techniques.
One of the main lip glosses he talks about using on her is one I always have on hand, “simmer” Juicy Tubes ($18). It’s a perfect shimmery shade of peachy pink that is flattering on almost everyone. This is an example of the color on my hand above, because it’s a bit too early in the morning to show it to you on my face bc I have been up for 3 hrs in in the night with my newborn! You’d much rather see Julia in it than me, promise.
One other link about Julia’s look at the premiere, is in regards to her fabulous ombre hair color as discussed on BeautyEditor.ca. She always has had awesome hair, but I think it’s looking at it’s best recently. It’s long, slightly wavy, and the perfect color that compliments
I can only hope to look this good in my 40’s as Julia does. I know she has a team of experts to help her out, but she still has a lot to work with ya know?! Her effortless approach to beauty without looking too made up, shows me how secure she is in herself, and she oozes confidence! Maybe if I eat healthy food, pray for good skin and hair, and love what God has already given me, I can become more Julia-like in my future days!!
