In terms of love, there’s nothing like the bond between a mother and daughter. I find it interesting how people always say as we age, “you’re turning into your mother.” This saying sometimes takes on a negative feel, however I don’t think it always has to. My mom is definitely (and positively!) responsible for cultivating my love of makeup and beauty because she has more products in her bathroom than I do! She taught me the basics and I kind of took it from there. Without her artistic background and talent that she passed onto me, I might not have the job I do today of making people a more beautiful version of their natural self! So I welcome the “you’re turning into your mother” comment.
I put a pic up of me and my artsy mom ( I actually took a picture of a picture so it’s not the greatest!) up top. She seriously doesn’t have a wrinkle on her face at 61- hope I’m as lucky! The apple certainly doesn’t fall far from the tree in terms of looks or facial features between the two of us. Just for fun, I found some celebrity mother-daughter duos that freakishly resemble each other as well!
1. Kathy Hilton with daughters Paris and Nicky. Kathy, age 50, definitely shares features with each of her blonde daughters and almost looks like she could share their 20’s with them!
2. Kris Jenner with daugher Kim Kardashian. Kris, age 54, looks dang good to have 6 children under her belt! What a rockin’ mom who obviously enjoys the art of makeup herself, and it works for her. She is just as stunning as 29 year old Kim.
3.Goldie Hawn with daughter Kate Hudson. Now here are two ultimate mother daughter look a likes! Goldie at 64 has the shiniest personality and smile which she definitely passed on to cute Kate, 30. These two ladies just define cute for me.
So no matter what you share with your mother, “work what ya mama gave you!”
