Okay so here I go again, the makeup artist talking about hair products! Now I’ve never claimed to be an expert on hair or it’s products and tools, but like most females there is something I DO know about hair.
It’s that we as females all want our hair to be one of the following:
- soft
- silky
- shiny
- overall healthy looking!
So luckily I was introduced to the much talked about product, Moroccan Oil, by a very popular and talented local hair stylist here in Athens(thanks Andrea at Mint Salon, you have done me a HUGE favor by allowing me to try this product!). She had such faith in this product that she basically shoved it into my hands and told me to try it- I’d like it! Moroccan Oil is basically an oil treatment (for all hair types) that is put on damp hair right after it’s been washed and conditioned. Then you can style or dry your hair as usual. A full sized bottle is around $39.00, and you use very little at a time, so your dollar is really stretched! My bottle shown in the picture is more of a sample size, around $14 bucks.
My personal experience:
I have used this product only 3 times since I got it, and have already seen a tremendously delightful difference in the texture of my hair. I would say that I have experienced all 4 descriptions up top in bullet points, especially the silky part!
My hair is dry by nature, and I can literally go 3 to 4 days without washing it. So I needed something to turn around my brittle and lifeless hair! And let me tell you ladies, this stuff made a difference. I will admit that I haven’t had a hair cut in over 4 months and it was starting to show. But now since using Moroccan Oil, my hair has gotten back to looking like it doesn’t have split ends… so maybe I can go another month before chunking down money for another pricey haircut!
I would definitely give this product to thumbs up and recommend it to all the dry hair girls out there! And if you’re wondering where you can get this miracle oil, check their official website for a salon locator because it’s only sold in salons. If you live in awesome Athens, Ga, go to Mint Salon in five points and tell them JennySue sent ya!!
