I own over 100 makeup brushes. I have to, it’s in my job description as a makeup artist. Ha! Ok, so maybe not a requirement, but I love love brushes and buy them like some people buy jewelry and accessories. You can never have too many in my opinion.
But one makeup brush I acquired at the Southern Blog Society Conference has me like WOAH (look back post here).
I have had this IT Cosmetics Heavenly Luxe Dual Airbrush Foundation & Concealer Brush, $48, stashed away in a little bag of goodies I got from the vendors. I recently opened it about one week ago and started using it. And O.M.G. Why did I wait so long???
I can honestly say, of all the foundation and concealer brushes I currently own, that come in all shapes, sizes, materials, and brands, this one takes the cake. It is made from the softest bristles ever (100% vegan and synthetic) and in turn, makes applying my skin products a dreamy and enjoyable process.
Some might say, “Well $48 is way too much for a makeup brush.” Well, to that I would say, cut that cost in half and think of it as you are getting a concealer brush AND foundation brush in one, so it’s really like buying 2 high quality brushes at $24 each. Now that’s a deal. And the fact that you only have to grab one brush to do two processes of makeup, that’s what I am talking about!
It is truly SO good and I can use the foundation side for my bb creams, liquid foundation, and even my airbrush foundation, and it applies all formulas the same and flawlessly.
I don’t endorse many makeup brushes with this kind of enthusiasm, but if you are in the market for such a brush, I would say run don’t walk to your nearest Ulta (sold exclusively there) or you can sit on your couch and order it through my affiliate link here, IT Cosmetics Heavenly Luxe Dual Brush, to have it mailed to your door.
