Ultra thick eye liner, I struggle with this, is it a do or a don’t??
Being a lover of makeup and a lover of more exaggerated makeup, I’m of the mentality of more is more (not less is more;-)) I’m obviously not afraid to ramp up an average eyeliner and take it up a few notches, but always wonder if it verges on the side of Amy Winehouse-ish (see below- where has she been lately by the way??).
So I am going to throw this very important question out to all of you…Do you like the normal liner, or the ultra thick winged liner??! Here are my comparisons of before and after (eye liner used: Rimmel London Spark It Up liner in “peridot”:
My verdict is that the ultra thick liner is very fun for a date night out, however, not so much for a t-ball game or trip to Target. But I do think it makes the lash line more prominent and sexy.
The key here is to keep the rest of the makeup pretty low key so that the liner doesn’t scare people away. But it does feel a bit more glamorous and “hey look at me!” than you regular liner eye liner, right??
